Launching Mission-Shaped Ministry

Members of Churches Together in Ebbsfleet (CTEb)¬†were among those who gathered in Rochester on the 23rd of September for the launch of this years’ Mission-Shaped Ministry Course. Our very own Penny Marsh, chair of CTEb, is among the leaders of this course which is being jointly run by the diocese of Canterbury and Rochester, the South East District of the Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church, the South East Baptist Association and the Salvation Army.

This is fantastic example of churches working together for the common good, and the diversity of participants has made for some great discussions about mission, ministry and fresh expressions of church. The course will run through evening classes for a year and our prayers are with all those who are using this course to think creatively about how their churches can better serve God and their neighbours.
